When I was 17, he bought me a game called Diablo 2. It was so addicting I played it for several hours a day over the course of a few years.

Yesterday, I was bored, so I reloaded it.

I played for 3 hours.

I was looking through my computer-related CDs last night (could not find drivers for wireless USB) and I saw my copy of Diablo 2. I actually considered installing it on my computer, but it was already kind of late, so I decided not to. I guess it is a good thing I didn't since it still appears to be addicting. Weird coincidence.

I always get Diablo confused with other games. What is it, and why is it so addicting?

I don't know what the deal is. I'm generally not into video games, unless you count WiiFit or Tetris. In fact, I usually get so bored, I have to find something else to do after about 30 minutes. But Diablo 2 . . . I'm not sure what it is. It's a fantasy RPG where you pretty much run around the woods chopping up various forms of the undead. But I could play four HOURS!

I'm very tempted to get online and see if anyone still uses battlenet, now that WoW seems so popular. I might actually have a bit of the map to myself, for once.

Yeah, that game rocks. It'd be even better with multiplayer.

Do you remember when I downloaded the pre-pimped-out characters? Haha.

Now I'm getting all nostalgic and missing the old-school multiplayer grand theft auto.

Just to let you know ozzy, battle.net is still going strong with diablo and warcraft (not wow). You will likely have to deal with the same stuff that would be dealt with six years ago when the game dropped. It should have cool new stuff for multiplayer though. I dunno, I haven't actually played diablo II in 4 years. BTW, diablo III is slated for release. Look for sometime in the late 2030's for it.
