People are continually talking to me about pancakes and wanting pancakes. I don't understand this craving, but oh well. Anyway, I found a recipe for some protein and oat based pancakes. I need to try it out. Here it is:

o 2 beaten eggs
o 1 cup cottage cheese
o Honey/Splenda/Banana
o 1 cup uncooked oatmeal

Optional, highly recommended ingredients:
o Banana
o A sprinkle of cinnamon
o A splash of vanilla

In the blender, put the ingredients in, in the order they appear - Eggs in first, then start the blender. As it's blending, pour in the cottage cheese, then the banana if you're using it, then whatever sweeteners and spices you like, then the oatmeal.

Once this is nicely blended, cook as you would pancakes, in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat.

Cottage Cheese Pancake

(4 servings)

1 c Cottage cheese
6 Egg
6 tb Flour
6 tb Vegetable oil
Whiz all ingredients up in the blender until smooth.
Spoon onto hot griddle and turn as you would any other pancake - you know,
when the bubbles appear, etc.

--------------------------------------…

Cottage Cheese Pancakes

1 cup cottage cheese
6 large eggs
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt

Place all ingredients in the container of a blender and process until smooth.

Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat or to 375*F (190*C). Grease griddle with shortening. Griddle is ready when a few drops of water bubble and skitter rapidly around.
For each pancake, pour scant 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook pancakes until puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides until golden brown.

Makes 4 servings.

Did you forget to fry up a hot, tasty slice of Spam to go with your breakfdinner? Its So Easy! Here's how-
1) Heat griddle with acetylene torch for 15 minutes (Remember your safety cod piece!)
2) Griddle is ready when your ear, brow, nose, and chin are pressed against and melt into unrecognizable hell.
3) Take unopened can of Spam, held between upper thighs, and using your .357 mag, make starter holes.
4) With can still between thighs, hover body over magma hot griddle for 10- 12 minutes, or until Spam is golden brown.
5) Serve with freshly used hypodermic needles.
