Just thought I'd throw this out there.... but if any of you guys have a late weekend night to kill, I'm really looking for an excuse to use my PS3. 4-player mauling seems to be in order.

Game just shipped yesterday. It may or may not get here in time to play this weekend.

Based on weather reports, we should be looking forward to a beautiful sunny weekend.....but this is Salt Lake; you never know.

Saturday night looks like it's got a couple of pretty hip options open.

A buddy's band, Calico, is going to be playing (details are stuck in my head somewhere) -- which should be pretty chill. They're all really talented dudes.

Meh. So I messed around with this game the other night for a couple of hours. I'm pretty disappointed. The 360 version of it was way more fun for some reason.

The graphics were meh.
The gameplay was meh.
In fact, I think I even like the old school xbox "X-Men: Legends" better than this.

Bleh.

That said.... this looks pretty promising. Someone remind me after it's released?

Blatantly talking to myself now, but I tried this again last night as a single-player schpeel. Grossly disappointed. X-Men Legends was by far a more playable game.

How is it possible to migrate to such a more powerful platform, yet have worse graphics and cruddier gameplay?
