Synopsis: Dude is consuming a crapton of butter and eggs for 30 days and measuring the effects on his HDL and LDL levels. We're only on Day Two right now, but it'll be interesting to see the findings. http://www.networkworld.com/community/b ... -challenge For those of you who haven't talked to me recently, I've been interested in the possibly erroneous correlation between increased dietary cholesterol (and fats) and the raise in blood cholesterol levels. At a very high level: HDL = good LDL = bad High LDL has been linked to higher risk of heart disease -- the number one cause of death America. This is typically what is spoken of when you hear talks of "high blood pressure". |

How about a whole bunch of those giant eggs from See's Candy . . . for some reason when I see "butter" and "egg" on the same line, that is what comes to mind. Must be the season. |
