I love CTF, but, honestly its too hard on me also. I'm outside all day in the ever increasing heat. Running around like a 12 year old after that is putting me at risk for a heart explosion. I'm ok with putting it on hold for a while.

My knee is a little injured right now so I'm not going to call a game together tonight. If anyone else wants to, that's great. I'm gonna home, ice my knee, and do my laundry instead.

As it turned out I didn't get to go home or ice my knee. I instead went to help Seamus fix his car. Man that took forever.

I'm kinda triple-booked tonight, too. If you guys wanna go, that's cool but I don't think I'll be able to make it. My apologies.

Lately, walking up STAIRS puts me at risk for heart explosion. Really. It's pathetic. I feel like the little Tiny Tim muppet in A Muppet Christmas Carol. I get too excited, and start to near hack out a lung. A few friends came over today to play Flux, and I got POOPED. Pathetic.

Oh, while I am here, a Grandma story for your entertainment.

We rented The Cats of Mirakitani. GREAT FILM, if you like documentaries. It is a true story, in which a filmmaker interviews a local homeless man, and finds out he was once a famous artist whose life was torn apart when he was put in a WWII camp for Japanese Americans.

It was completely G-rated. Throughout the film, Grandma kept complaining to all of us, "this is spooky," or "this makes no sense." We kinda ignored the comments, since "spooky" material included things like 2 dozen former internees smiling and posing for a picture in front of Tule Lake, and no amount of explanation can make her follow a plot.

As happens with everything we watch, she complained for the entire duration of the film. The credits role, and the final copyrights are coming across the screen. I pulled out the DVD, and immediately she demanded, "Why did you turn it off?"

"Grandma, the movie is over."

"No, it was going. Turn it back on."

Apparently, she really wanted to see the part of the credits where they thanked the East Village Senior Center in New York. ..::SIGH::..

Suffering from insomnia. Watching C-SPAN, the Sotomayor hearings.

THANK GOODNESS. I found some intelligent women somewhere on TV. I was beginning to lose faith that girls can do anything besides look pretty in bikinis.

Months of sitting at home watching daytime television is bad for the soul.

You can borrow my gamecube. It is like a playstation with crappier games. It is also sort of like a wii, but with far less effort.

Erik wanted a standalone flash installer for his computer so he could play bloons. If he's running XP, he can use this here:
