We've briefly mentioned hosting an A.D.D. Olympics, but I want to turn this into a reality. Need some help brainstorming our events.
Here are my criteria: 1. Must be cheap/feasible 2. Each event must be comprised of no less than 3 other events that are mushed together
Guess that's it.
Any thoughts?

I'm drawing blanks right now, but I think a variety of Frisbee-related events would be exceptional.

- 3-legged hurdles with a long jump at the end - Tae Kwon Do, Judo, and Wrestling (oh wait, that is MMA) - For the winter months: Bobsled, biathlon, and ski-jump (ride bobsled off of ski jump while shooting targets)

Those are all hilarious. 3-legged hurdles would rock.
I'm (seirously) thinking of something like the following:
1. Standard relay race (climb all over the playground). The relay ends with... 2. Slip-n-Slide. The end of the Slip-n-Slide signals the next teammate to begin relay while the contender immediately goes to.... 3. Long-distance tug-of-war. They must hold their own until their teammates, one by one, get to come help them.
Matching contenders will be crucial for this event.

Bicycles, relay, and long jump... you can fill in the rest. Bicycles, fencing, and more fencing...

figure skating, diving (off a high dive), and something equestrian. Oh, wait, not cheap. But it would be so entertaining!
Okay, replace figure skating with inline skating. Replace diving off a high dive with jumping off the roof onto a trampoline. Replace the equestrian event with cat-herding.
So, first thing's first... the inline skating routine... it must be both visually appealing and technically difficult (or, at least must require some things that will more likely than not lead to a few falls). Then, they have to climb up a ladder (still wearing inline skates) to the roof. Once on the roof, they can take off the skates. The jump must be stylized, and have at least one rotation (you choose the direction). Once the person hits the trampoline, (s)he has to quickly dismount and get to the cat-herding event. As for herding the cats, the only rule is that no catnip, cat toys, or cat food can be found on the person. Everything else is fair game.
What say you?
