Looking back on it . . . I can't BELIEVE that box cover actuallly managed to sell cereal to children! Is that Leslie Nielsen?

To be honest, I think the original reason I liked King Vitamin was because it was like a buck cheaper than the other cereals on the shelf. After we got home, we realized it was pallatable. Combine the two, and we essentially get THE BEST CEREAL EVER!

That's right: even as a child I was a tightwad.

Do you remember how Mom used to put our cereal into that glass bin thing? That killed whatever marketing-glamor the cereal had in the first place. The glass bin made all cereal just as generic as if it had come from a Malt-O-Meal bag. Bummer.

King Vitaman looks awesome.

Cookie Crisp is overrated. How can you like anything that sounds like it is designed to be eaten by the british with tea. What are you, a redcoat?

Cricket? Nobody understands cricket. You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket!

Looking again at the King Vitaman box, I cannot help but wonder . . . did ANY child in ANY time or place actually use the "free mask on back of box"?
